As we are in Thanksgiving week, it is even more appropriate to express my ongoing thanks and gratitude to our team, our clients and my family and friends! Awesome effort by the entire project team – Gilmore, JMT and KMJ Consulting. KMJ led the stakeholder engagement, designed curb ramps and traffic control. The Philadelphia Department of Streets, Philadelphia Water Department and Department of Commerce are great clients. We’re so excited to see American Street under construction! Susan Phillips volunteered her time during Engineers Week to educate students on Transportation Engineering. Perkiomen Valley South Elementary students enjoyed learning about civil engineering through a Hot Wheels activity. “This group of 1st and 2nd grade students loved completing a traffic safety experiment. We talked about traffic safety and the importance of working as a team, valuing each team member’s contribution.” – Susan Phillips, PE, PTOE, AICP, Senior Project Manager. KMJ.
