On June 19, 2018, KMJ staff visited American Street to look at the construction progress. The staff viewed the changes while discussing the details of both roadway and green stormwater infrastructure (GSI) improvements. Marty Williams, PE, explained the traffic control plans which KMJ prepared to allow for vehicular, pedestrian and truck access to businesses during construction. kmj

“Stand up, speak up, and let your voice be heard” is an example of guidance that Karen Jehanian gave to WTS Philadelphia Transportation YOU participants. Transportation YOU is a program that offers young girls insight about transportation careers through interactive events and mentorship.
On June 16, 2018, Karen Jehanian engaged these young women and their parents in a lively discussion about work, life, leadership and having fun! During this End of Year Celebration, she encouraged them to be the bright light in a dull room. kmj
